Journalists across the globe are constantly having to navigate pressures and restrictions on their writing. In many cases this often results in a damaging infringement on freedom of speech. This is especially pertinent in light of the current global pandemic and the need for information to be accurately and freely shared.

On the show today is Rebecca Vincent: journalist, human rights activist, and Director of International Campaigns as well as the London bureau of reporters for Reporters Without Borders (Reporters Sans Frontiers). Rebecca will be sharing some insights into the challenges facing reporters, with a special focus on the results of this year’s World Press Freedom Index.
